1. A nutraceutical comprising
isolated Bacteroides fragilis capsular polysaccharide A in an amount sufficient to enhance CD103+ dendritic cells and/or elevate IL-10 combined with a nutritional source, so that the combination is a nutraceutical in that it is a food product, foodstuff, functional food, or a supplement composition for a food product or a foodstuff, which food product, foodstuff or functional food is appropriate for oral consumption by a human subject and, wherein the food product, foodstuff or functional food is selected from the group consisting of a beverage, liquid preparation to be added to drinking water and liquid food, a solid food and a semi solid food. |
