The invention relates to a method for the production of isocyanato-organosilanes (IS) of general formula (4) OCN— R2-SiR3 (3-x)(OR4)x (4), starting from carbamato-organosilanes (CS) of general formula (5) wherein carbamato-organosilane (CS) is introduced, which are produced by reacting at least one amino-organosilane (AS) of general formula (6), NH2-R2-SiR3 (3-x)(OR4)x (6) with at least one dialkyl carbonate (DAC) of general formula (7) in the presence of a basic catalyst (K) comprising basic functions, wherein the basic catalyst (K) is completely or partially neutralized with an acid (S) before the production of the isocyanato-organosilane (IS), the protolysis steps of which have a pKs value of at most 4.0, wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and x have the meaning described in claim 1. |
