Disclosed are candidate character sequencing method, device and character inputting method and apparatus, the candidate character sequencing method comprising: generating a candidate character sequence matching the basic character according to the inputted basic character; obtaining the individual attribute information of the user and the input scene information for inputting the character according to the input address of the basic character; and conducting a preference probability analysis for each character in the candidate character sequence and the individual attribute information and the input scene information to obtain the preference probability value for each candidate character, and arranging and displaying the candidate character sequence according to the preference probability value. The present invention identifies the input scene information and the statistics of the individual attribute information in the inputting device, thus realizing optimized sequencing for the candidate character, and effectively improving the efficiency of inputting a character. |
