The present invention concerns a capsular implant (1), characterised in that it comprises a filiform body (6) comprising a plurality of contiguous segments, the filiform body (6) having a peripheral surface (5) that defines at least one outer arc of a circle (x) along the filiform body (6) and at least one inner arc of a circle (y) along the filiform body (6), the filiform body (6) comprising at least one open and non-closed chamber (2) of an active formulation and/or of an analysis or measuring device and/or of a device for controlling the release of (an) active ingredient(s), said open and non-closed chamber (2) being disposed on the peripheral surface (5) of said filiform body (6) along said inner arc of a circle (y) and allowing direct contact between said formulation and/or said device(s) and the capsular medium. It also concerns the use of said capsular implant (1) in the context of post-operative care following surgery of the lens in humans or animals.
