摘要 Proposed are an apparatus and a method for controlling a light in connection with an energy storage system which set a level of lighting based on an amount of energy charged in the energy storage system when a blackout occurs, and which supply power discharged from the energy storage system only to a lighting device corresponding to the set level of lighting. The apparatus for controlling a light in connection with an energy storage system measures an amount of energy charged in the energy storage system when a blackout is detected based on whether a power company supplies power, sets a level of lighting based on the measured amount of charged energy and information on a level of lighting, generates a light control signal controlling a light corresponding to the set lighting level to be turned on and controlling a lighting device corresponding to a lighting level except for the set lighting level to be turned off, and supplies power discharged from the energy storage system to a lighting device based on the generated light control signal. The apparatus includes a blackout detecting unit; a charged amount measuring unit; a lighting level setting unit; a control unit generating the light control signal; and a lighting power supply unit.
