PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and method for handling network configuration in a wireless communication system.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus for handling network configuration includes a storage unit that stores instructions and processing means coupled to the storage unit. The processing means is configured to perform the instructions stored in the storage unit. The instructions include: receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message that indicates reconfiguration of at least one of Radio Link Control (RLC) configuration, Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) configuration, and Semi-Persistent Scheduling (SPS) configuration; performing the reconfiguration according to the RRC message if at least one of the following conditions is met, i.e., the RRC message is to change a secondary cell group (SCG) of the communication apparatus and the RRC message is to reconfigure a radio bearer from an SCG bearer to an MCG bearer; and stopping performing the reconfiguration if any of the conditions is not met.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
