PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hemodialysis system.SOLUTION: The hemodialysis system comprises: a dialyzer; a dialysate supply source; a dialysate pump; a dialysate cassette which is connected to the dialysate pump so as to operate, thereby when the dialysate cassette is in fluid communication with the dialysate supply source, the dialysate pump may feed the dialysate via the dialysate cassette; a blood pump; a blood cassette which is connected to the blood pump so as to operate, thereby the blood pump can feed blood via the blood cassette, in which the blood cassette contains a rigid housing, and a flexible membrane attached to the rigid housing, the housing contains a tube connector from a patient, a tube connector connected to the patient, a tube connector connected to the dialyzer, and a tube connector from the dialyzer, and the flexible membrane defines a valve seat for opening and closing a line of the blood cassette to the patient.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 26A |
