PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor manufacturing method capable of easily inserting a magnetic material into a magnetic insertion hole to a rotor core of which the magnetic insertion hole has a convex portion.SOLUTION: A magnetic insertion hole 4 of a rotor core 3 applied to a rotor manufacturing method, comprises: an inner side wall surface 4a that has convex parts 30 and 40; and a flat outer side surface 4b that is arranged opposite to the inner side wall surface 4a. By using the inner side wall surface 4a of such a shape, a magnetic material 5A is inserted into the magnetic insertion hole 4 along with the flat outer side surface 4b. By applying such a magnetic material insertion method, even if there are the convex parts 30 and 40 in the magnetic insertion hole 4, the magnetic material 5A can be easily, reliably, and smoothly inserted into the magnetic insertion hole 4 by utilizing gravity, without being disturbed by the convex parts 30 and 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
