PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and measuring apparatus for determining specific quantities associated with the gas quality.SOLUTION: According to a method and apparatus of the present invention, a gas or gas mixture flows through an ultrasonic flow sensor 4 as well as a microthermal sensor 7, the ultrasonic flow sensor 4 being used for determining sound and flow velocity and the microthermal sensor 7 being used for determining thermal conductivity and thermal capacity of the gas or gas mixture. The sound velocity, thermal conductivity and thermal capacity are subsequently used for correlation of specific quantities associated with gas quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
