requesting to borrow bandwidth from a lender; receiving acknowledgment as to whether there is a conflict between at least one potential borrower and the lender; resolving the conflict; and establishing the bandwidth-sharing ad hoc network when the conflict is resolved, wherein the bandwidth-sharing ad hoc network is a communication network amongst mobile computing devices of the lender and a mobile computing device of the at least one potential borrower.
