PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting liquid droplet discharge state in which lowering of the amount of beam passing through a slit opening is prevented even when there is variation of radiation direction of a laser beam or there is variation of a slit opening position just after a lens.SOLUTION: The device includes a light source 20, discharge means for discharging liquid droplets, opening means 22 for making a light ray radiated from the light source 20 pass through an opening 28 having a predetermined size in the two-dimensional direction to change the same to a light beam having the predetermined size, and light receiving means 24 for receiving a detection light generated by the light beam in a state that the liquid droplets are not discharged by the discharge means, and also includes adjusting means for adjusting a position of the opening means 22 in the two-dimensional direction so that the light amount of the light beams passing through the opening 28 is maximum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
