PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibrations at board thickness on the outlet side of a rolling machine by suitably performing control of a configuration for making a tensile force generated for a material-to-be-rolled on the inlet and outlet sides of the rolling machine and control of a roll gap of the rolling machine.SOLUTION: A carrier speed of a material-to-be-rolled inserted into a rolling machine to be rolled by the rolling machine is controlled on the basis of the plate thickness of the rolled material-to-be-rolled, and either of rotation of the rolling machine and rotation of a reel for unwinding the material-to-be-rolled and feeding it to the rolling machine is controlled so that the carrier speed of the material-to-be-rolled can be controlled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
