PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter capable of reducing eccentricity or inclination of an ultrasonic transducer or a light deflection part.SOLUTION: A catheter 20 comprises: a tubular torque wire 23 having first inner diameter and transmitting rotation power from a rotation drive part to a tip end part 24 of the catheter 20; a light deflection part disposed on the tip end part 24; a light guide line which is inserted into inside of the torque wire 23, and optically connected to the light deflection part; and a ring member 25 externally attached to an end part of the torque wire 23 on the tip end part 24 side, and caulking the torque wire 23 so that inner diameter of the torque wire 23 on the end part is made smaller than the first inner diameter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
