PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device capable of suppressing a reduction in quality of an image formed onto a medium by suppressing superimposition of noise on selection data, and further to provide a head unit and a liquid discharge method.SOLUTION: A head drive circuit 61 includes: a data holding section 743 holding selection data SP selecting a pulse from a driving signal COM input to a driving signal output circuit 46; and a discharge control section 75 causing ink to be discharged from a discharge head by driving each driving element 62 on the basis of the selection data SP held by the data holding section 743, printing data SI input from a data output control section 47 and the driving signal COM input from the driving signal output circuit 46.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
