PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water and oil repellent treatment agent capable of forming a water and oil repellent layer having excellent water and oil repellency, abrasion resistance, and releasability even after heated at a high temperature not lower than 250°C, a production method thereof, and an article treated by the treatment agent.SOLUTION: The water and oil repellent treatment agent contains at least one compound selected from specific polymer-modified silanes having fluorooxyalkylene structures for main chains, and hydrolyzable groups at terminals of molecular chains and/or partial (co-) hydrolysis condensation products thereof by 50% of a total mass except for a diluting solvent where the mass decrease rate after exposure at 250°C for 1 hour is not greater than 10% of a total mass except for a diluting solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
