PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove paper powder.SOLUTION: An inkjet recorder 1 comprises a recording head 34, a carrying part 31 and a negative pressure impression part 33. The recording head 34 discharges ink on paper P. The carrying part 31 carries the recording paper P to an image formation position by the recording head 34. The carrying part 31 also comprises a pressing roller 312 for pushing down the paper on the upstream side in the carrying direction of the paper to a plate-like member 35. The pressing roller 312 is arranged on the upstream side in the carrying direction of the paper P to the recording head 34, and presses the paper P. The negative pressure impression part 33 impresses negative pressure on a lower space of the pressing roller 312 and a lower space of the recording head 34.
