PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To address such a problem that it is conventionally impossible to promote regional development, while enjoying a map game.SOLUTION: The map game apparatus includes: a map information storage part capable of storing map information having two or more pieces of spot information representing two or more points respectively; an advertisement information storage part capable of storing advertisement information corresponding to one or more points respectively out of the two or more points; a reception part for receiving an input from a user; a map output part for outputting a map using the map information stored in the map information storage part; a game progress part for moving a point on the currently output map according to the input and progressing the game; an advertisement information acquisition part that acquires advertisement information corresponding to a point after the movement, as a result that the game progress part progresses the game, from the advertisement information storage part; and an advertisement output part for outputting advertisement using the advertisement information acquired by the advertisement information acquisition part.
