PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a relatively simple configuration and yet follow movement of a seating person in a chair having the configuration capable of supporting the lumbar part of the seating person.SOLUTION: The chair includes left/right side frames of a backrest, and a lumbar support to be fitted to the left/right side frames. The lumbar support comprises an elastically-deformable pressure-receiving body extending in the horizontal direction and bending by receiving load of the seating person; and highly-rigid side edge bodies formed at left/right side edges of the pressure-receiving body, and integrated with the pressure-receiving body. A bend distribution mechanism for differentiating bending degrees of at least upper region and a lower region in the pressure-receiving body when applying weight from the seating person thereto, comprises the side edge bodies and the side frames.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
