PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device for the passenger conveyor which can suppress that a foreign substance is wound into a moving handrail inlet port.SOLUTION: A handrail device for a passenger conveyor comprises: a deck board 21 having a deck board body 211 and a deck board movable part 212 slidable relative to the deck board body 211; a slide regulation part 24 for regulating the slide of the deck board movable part 212 with respect to the deck board body 211; an inlet guard 25 covering the surrounding the portion of a moving handrail 23, which enters the moving handrail inlet port, and capable of sliding in the moving direction of the moving handrail 23 with respect to the deck board movable part 212; and an inlet switch 26 for detecting the movement of the inlet guard 25 with respect to the direction, in which the moving handrail 23 enters the moving handrail inlet port. The slide regulation part 24 releases the regulation of the slide of the deck board movable part 212 in the case where the inlet switch 26 detects the movement of the inlet guard 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
