PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic transmission capable of rapidly reducing a pressure at the time of irregular high pressure at a high pressure line.SOLUTION: A hydraulic transmission of this invention comprises: a hydraulic pump; a hydraulic motor; a high pressure line and a low pressure line for connecting the hydraulic pump with the hydraulic motor; a bypass line connecting the high pressure line with the low pressure line; a branch line branched from the branch line and connected to a lower pressure source lower than the high pressure line; a relief valve and a metering part arranged at the branched line; and a logic valve arranged at the bypass line and constituted to have a pressure at a position between the relief valve and the metering part at the branch line given as a pilot pressure. The logic valve is kept closed when a pressure of operating oil at the position under a state in which the relief valve is closed is taken as a pilot pressure, and it is opened when a pressure of the operating oil at the position under a state in which the relief valve is opened is taken as a pilot pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
