PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GRIN lens array capable of accurately polishing a front end face of a member holding a GRIN lens so that the front end face forms a desired angle with an optic axis of the GRIN lens.SOLUTION: A GRIN lens array 30 has a plurality of GRIN lens 31 optically connected to optical connectors on the side of a connection partner. The GRIN lens array 30 has a first surface 32 and second surfaces 33a-33d. The first surface 32 includes: a guide pin hole 36 for defining the direction of the GRIN lens array 30 so that the plurality of GRIN lens 31 are connected along with the Z direction relative to the optical connectors on the side of the connection partner; and a first interface surface 32a which extends along the XY plane and where one end face of the GRIN lens 31 is exposed and optically connected to the optical connector on the side of the connection partner. The second surfaces 33a-33d are almost parallel with the first surface 32, and are formed at different positions from the first surface 32 in the Z direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
