PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which on-ice frictional properties of the tire are enhanced and which is excellent in on-ice performance, especially, on-ice brake performance.SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire is disposed with, in a tread 1 of a tread part positioned between both tread ends E: a plurality of main grooves 2 extending in a tire circumferential direction; and a plurality of lateral grooves 3 having one inflection point such that the lateral groove 3 forms a projection shape in the tire circumferential direction between the main grooves and/or between the main groove and the tread end E and extending in a tire width direction. A plurality of blocks 4 having a circumferential direction projection part 41 having a shape corresponding to the projection shape of the lateral groove are partitioned and formed, and the block is disposed with at least one lateral sipe 42 having an arrangement shape corresponding to the lateral groove and extending in the tire width direction. A tire width direction dimension when projecting the lateral sipe on the same plane which includes a tire rotational axis and is orthogonal to a block surface is equal to a tire width direction dimension when projecting the block disposed with the lateral sipe on the plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
