PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an irradiation position detection device capable of simply and quickly detecting an irradiation position of an irradiation apparatus.SOLUTION: The detection device detects an irradiation position of a beam by an irradiation apparatus capable of applying the beam from a plurality of mutually different irradiation angles to an irradiation object on a couch. The detection device includes a scintillator that has a shape being rotational symmetry with respect to a predetermined central axis, has optical transparency, is disposed on the couch and receives the beam applied from the irradiation apparatus from a lateral face. The irradiation position detection device captures an image including at least the scintillator in a field angle from a plane side or a bottom side of the scintillator; acquires an image captured when the irradiation apparatus applies the beam, detects a beam passage in the scintillator from the acquired image, and detects the irradiation position of he beam on the basis of the detected beam passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
