PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation assistance system including robotic mechanisms.SOLUTION: The robot mechanism includes a support column 3 and at least a first and second robotic arm 4 and 5. A lower end section 3' of the support column 3 is pivotally mounted about a first pivotal axis SA1 on a base unit 2 and controlled by a first drive unit 8. A first end section 4' of the first robotic arm 4 is pivotally mounted about a second pivotal axis SA2 on the upper end section 3'' of the support column 3 opposite to the base unit 2 and controlled by a second drive unit 9. A first end section 5' of the second robotic arm 5 is pivotally mounted about a third pivotal axis SA3 on a second end section 4''' of the first robotic arm 4 by a third drive unit 10. Each drive unit 8-10 is associated with a controllable electromagnetic brake unit by which the robotic mechanisms 3-5 can be uncoupled from the drive units 8-10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
