a limiting current type sensor; and a control part for controlling a voltage applied to the sensor and detecting a concentration of a SOx included in an exhaust as discharged from the engine by using an output current of the sensor, wherein the control part is configured to detect the concentration of the SOx included in the exhaust gas discharged from the engine by using the output current of the sensor while lowering the voltage applied to the sensor from a predetermined voltage. |
