This biomolecule-separating apparatus (100) is provided with: arm parts (20-23, 66) for retaining a transfer membrane (1) arranged at a location facing a first opening (50a); and drive parts (62-65) placed below an anode buffer tank 30, for driving the arm parts in an approximately horizontal direction. The arm parts pass along the outside of the side walls of the anode buffer tank 30, wrap around the top edges of the side walls, and connect to the inside of the side walls.
