An input/output operation device provided with: an operation unit that is operated by an operator; a detection unit that detects the position of the operation unit and generates a position signal corresponding to the position of the operation unit; a control circuit that receives the position signal and generates a speed control signal; and a drive circuit that receives the speed control signal and drives the operation unit. The control circuit: (a) passes the position signal through a first filter circuit and generates a speed signal; (b) passes the position signal through a second filter circuit having frequency transmission properties different from the first filter circuit; and (c) adds at least the speed signal and a correction signal, and generates a speed control signal.
