An aerial cableway system comprises at least two stations between which vehicles (1), especially cars, can travel as they are pulled by a cable; the stations include a boarding zone (6) for passengers to board vehicles (1) and a disembarking zone (5) for getting off vehicles (1). A sensor (7) can be activated by a vehicle (1) entering a station. At least one restricted area (8) comprising at least one gate (9, 11) that includes a controller which can be activated by the sensor (7) is located in the station. |
