The present invention relates to an eco-friendly structure for reducing damage of avalanche sand and stone, which is normally laid down and unfolded when avalanche sand and stone are introduced, and installation method. The eco-friendly structure for reducing damage of avalanche sand and stone comprises: a mesh laid down on the ground; at least one support wire fastened to a portion of the mesh in one end thereof; and a fixing member fixing the mesh to the ground, and allowing a support wire to be fastened thereto such that a portion or the entirety of the mesh is lifted from the ground to prepare an inlet through which earth and sand or rock are introduced to a front portion of the mesh in a direction in which the avalanche sand and stone is in progress. The mesh includes: a first reinforcing wire coupled to the entire edges thereof and second reinforcing wires coupled to the first reinforcing wire or coupled with each other, while intersecting with each other. The support wire includes first, second, and third support wires. The fixing member has a bottom fixing member, a middle fixing member, and a front fixing member. |
