PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in a fixing device having a film, a heater in contact with an inner face of the film, and a heat conduction member in contact with the heater, when the heat conduction member is divided in the longitudinal direction, transfer of heat between the center part and ends through the heat conduction member may be hindered depending on the way of the division.SOLUTION: There is provided a fixing device including a cylindrical film, a heater in contact with an inner face of the film, and a heat conduction member in contact with a face on the opposite side of a face of the heater in contact with the inner face of the film, and heating a toner image formed on a recording material by using heat of the film to fix the toner image on the recording material, where the heat conduction member is divided into plurality in the generatrix direction of the film, and one of the divided members is in contact with the heater continuously from the center part to the ends of a heating area of the heater in the generatrix direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
