PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent light source device which can acquire high luminous efficiency, and which can acquire emission light having high uniformity without generation of color unevenness.SOLUTION: The fluorescent light source device includes: a fluorescent plate; and a light diffusion plate provided on a fluorescent radiation surface side of the fluorescent plate. In the fluorescent light source device, excitation light received on the surface of the light diffusion plate enters the fluorescent radiation surface of the fluorescent plate via the light diffusion plate. The light diffusion plate is arranged so that an outer peripheral edge of the rear surface of the light diffusion plate is located further inside than an outer peripheral edge of the fluorescent radiation surface of the fluorescent plate. On the light diffusion plate, a light reflection part is provided over the whole circumference of the outer peripheral surface. On the surface of the light diffusion plate, an incident region of the excitation light is formed so that an outer edge of the incident region is located inside the outer peripheral edge of the surface of the light diffusion plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
