PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granulator that excels in granulating performance and can produce a granulated material with a desired particle diameter in a relatively short time.SOLUTION: A chopper blade 21 is set in an agitation tank body 8 that is rotatable and can be inclined at any angle, the chopper blade rotating in an opposite direction to the agitation tank body 8. A lower end of a rotation shaft 18 of the chopper blade 21 includes an inclined blade 20a and a parallel blade 20b, each radially mounted in a plurality of numbers in such a manner that the inclined blade 20a is inclined to be gradually closer to a bottom 15 of the agitation tank body 8 and that the parallel blade 20b is parallel to the bottom 15 of the agitation tank body 8 and has an elevation angle to render a frontal edge in the rotation direction higher than a rear edge. The parallel blade 20b presses a powder material along the elevation angle to the bottom 15 of the agitation tank body, whereas the inclined blade 20a presses the powder material at the blade tip where a clearance from the bottom 15 of the agitation tank body is narrow, while rolling the powder material in a blade base part where the clearance is wide, so as to granulate the powder material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
