PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side sill structure which enables improvements of NVH performance and collision performance which inhibiting increase in the number of components and plate thickness.SOLUTION: A side sill structure 100 extends from an area below a front pillar 106 of a vehicle 102 to the vehicle rear side. The side sill structure 100 includes: a side sill inner 122 having no front end surface at the vehicle front side and including a first opening part 138 formed therein; a side sill outer 124 joined to the vehicle outer side of the side sill inner 122 along the side sill inner 122, forming a closed cross section 172 with the side sill inner 122, and having no front end surface at the vehicle front side, the side sill outer 124 including a second opening part 152 formed therein; an extension member 136 having a vertical wall part 140 which closes the first opening part 138 of the side sill inner 122; and a cover member 150 having a second vertical wall part 156 which closes the second opening part 152 of the side sill outer 124 and connected to the extension member 136 from the vehicle outer side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
