PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum dryer that comprises a drum having a relatively low coefficient of thermal expansion, exerting a great treatment capacity on a liquid to be dried, and having high corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: Clad steel, in which a mating material is stuck on common steel serving as a base material, is used as a material for a circular cross-section drum 2 of a drum dryer, and the mating material is arranged on the side of a surface 2b of the drum 2.
