PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device stably guiding (transporting) board paper and the like.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a recording section performing recording onto a medium; and a medium guide section 50 guiding the medium. The medium guide section can displace a guide position of the medium. The recording device has a detection section 90 capable of detecting the medium guide section. The detection section detects presence or absence of the medium guide section at a predetermined position. The medium guide section can be displaced between an upper side guide position and a lower side guide position and has a holding section 80 holding a position of the guide section at the upper side guide position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
