1. An information processing apparatus configured to execute a processing flow including a plurality of process steps defined according to a definition file, the apparatus comprising:
a reception unit configured to receive an event generated in the information processing apparatus; a determination unit configured to determine a type of the event if a type of data relating to the received event is an expansion program including a definition file; and a registration unit configured to register an object associated with the definition file included in the expansion program, according to installation of the expansion program, if the event type determined by the determination unit is installation, wherein the object is displayed on a menu configured to accept an instruction to call an application of the information processing apparatus, according to the registration of the object. |
