摘要 The present invention relates to a ground switch control device and a method thereof. More specifically, a first ground switch controls a connection between the ground and a positive electrode terminal of a battery rack including multiple battery modules. A second ground switch controls a connection between the ground and a negative electrode terminal of the battery rack. A third ground switch controls a connection between the ground and the battery modules. The ground switch control device sequentially turns on only one of the first to third ground switches to switch a ground contact mode of the battery rack. A leakage current of the battery rack is measured in each ground contact mode. The measured leakage currents in the ground contact modes are compared with each other. The first to third ground switches are controlled to switch to the ground contact mode with the minimum leakage current. Accordingly, the ground switch control device and the method can adjust the ground contact mode to minimize the leakage current of the battery rack.
