PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a housing for an electronic control unit, capable of reducing an amount of thermal expansion/contraction of a resin part at a bottom of a housing body without increasing the number of components; and an electronic control unit.SOLUTION: A housing 12 for an electronic control unit includes: a resin-made housing body 14 which is formed in a bottomed box shape and in which a bus bar is inserted at a bottom 23 thereof; and a metal-made heat sink 16 assembled to the housing body 14 so as to close a top surface opening. A deformation suppression means is provided between joining surfaces of a peripheral wall part 24 of the housing body 14 and a peripheral edge part of the heat sink 16, the deformation suppressing means comprising a projecting portion 51 and a recessed channel portion 40 which are fitted to each other so as to suppress the deformation of the peripheral wall part 24 of the housing body 14 in a plate thickness direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
