PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a fuel cell that externally supplies power.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises: a fuel cell for externally supplying power; a coolant circulation passage along which coolant for cooling the fuel cell circulates; a radiator installed in the coolant circulation passage; a water pump for circulating the coolant in the coolant circulation passage; a diverging valve that controls the flow rate of the coolant flowing in the radiator; a fan that sends a stream of air to the radiator; and a control unit that exerts control such that if a state in which the temperature of the coolant is equal to or higher than a first predetermined temperature value and the degree of opening of the diverging valve is such that the flow rate of the coolant flowing into the radiator is equal to or higher than the predetermined flow rate continues for a first predetermined duration, increasing the drive voltage of the fan is carried out in priority to increasing flow rate by the water pump, and exerts control such that if a state in which the temperature of the coolant is equal to or higher than the second predetermined temperature after increasing the drive voltage of the fan passes for a second predetermined duration, the flow rate of the water pump is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
