PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively operate a vacuum cooling device including a heat exchanger for vapor condensation and a water sealing-type vacuum pump.SOLUTION: As pressure reduction means 4 in a processing tank 3, a heat exchanger 10 for vapor condensation and a water sealing-type vacuum pump 12 are disposed. Water flow to the heat exchanger 10 is switched from water of normal temperature to cold water at a set timing. In using the water of normal temperature, the water after passing through the heat exchanger 10 is drained, and in using the cold water, the water after passing through the heat exchanger 10 is returned to a cold water tank 7. A chiller switching temperature as the set timing, is changeable. The chiller switching temperature for inexpensive operation is preferably determined in consideration of a cost of electricity for a chiller 6 to manufacture the cold water, and a cost of water in a case where the water of normal temperature is used as water flow to the heat exchanger 10 without recycling the water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
