An endoscope light source system 70 includes: a light source module 50; an insertion module 21; and beam guiding paths 71. The light source system 70 additionally includes: an optical connection part 73 that is provided in one of the beam guiding paths 71 and that optically connects an auxiliary-beam guiding path 121 with that beam guiding path 71 so that an auxiliary beam is guided to this beam guiding path 71 from the auxiliary-beam guiding path 121 that guides the auxiliary beam; and a radiation module 75 that radiates an illumination beam onto a part-to-be-illuminated by emitting, to the exterior of an endoscope 20, at least one of the beam coming from the light source and the auxiliary beam, which have been guided by the beam guiding paths 71. |
