PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of monitoring the deterioration of light source output, even when the constant current control of a light source is performed.SOLUTION: An optical transmitter-receiver includes the light source, a light source power management part which records and manages the output power state of the light source, a photodetector which receives and detects a first light signal from an opposite optical transmission device, and a monitor information extraction part which extracts the monitor information of the reception power level of a second light signal generated from the output light of the light source and received by the opposite optical transmission device, from the first light signal. When the monitor value of the reception power level excesses the fluctuations of an optical transmission path and is reduced, the light source power management part updates the record of the output power state of the light source on the basis of the monitor information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
