PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the looseness of a conducting wire and deterioration in a short-circuit.SOLUTION: A wire connection device 10 of a commutator comprises: a pair of holding members 12; a supporting member 14; and a cutting member 16. A pair of holding member 12 holds a pair of engaged parts 60 in a conducting wire 58 engaged with an adjacent connection claw 56 of a plurality of connection claw 56 arranged in a commutator 50 to the adjacent connection claw 56. In a state where a pair of engaged part 60 is held to the adjacent connection claw 56 by a pair of holding members 12, the cutting member 16 forms a pair of terminal parts 64 extending from a pair of engaged part 60 by cutting a bridge part 62 between a pair of engaged parts 60 in the conducting wire 58. The supporting member 14 supports the bridge part 62 at the time of cutting the bridge 62 by the cutting member 16, and a pair of terminal parts 64 is bent in a hook state, and is hooked to the adjacent connection claw 56 after the bridge part 62 is cut.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
