A liquid crystal display panel, comprising: a source electrode driver (104); a gate electrode driver (106); a pixel array (100) electrically connected between the source electrode driver (104) and the gate electrode driver (106), and used to display an image according to a data signal and a gate electrode signal; a shaping circuit (120) electrically connected to the gate electrode driver (106) to provide a shaping voltage VGH, the shaping circuit (120) being configured to step a received direct current voltage down to a voltage value of the shaping voltage VGH within a preset time to avoid screen flicker and maintain a uniformity of various areas of the liquid crystal display panel. Further provided is a driving method of a liquid crystal display panel.
