A backlight module comprises: a backplane (1); a backlight source and an optical assembly both disposed on the backplane; and a plastic frame (4), used for fixing the backlight source and the optical assembly. The top of the plastic frame (4) is provided with a cover (11) that is integrally formed with the plastic frame (4) and extends to the middle of the backlight module.
