A cable rug purchase quantity calculation system capable of automatically calculating purchase quantity of a cable rug in light of the existence of a rug type, a ground cable, armour, and a shield based on each cable type and a method thereof. The cable rug purchase quantity calculation system is formed of; an input unit to input cable type information corresponding to a cable rug in which a user wants to purchase; and a cable rug calculation unit to calculate the cable rug to be purchased by using rug information which is registered in a cable rug table stored in a cable information database based on the cable type information inputted by the input unit. Therefore, the purchase quantity of the cable rug can be automatically and optimally determined in consideration of the existence of the ground cable, the armour, and the shield and quantity management of the cable rug can be conveniently and accurately executed by managing purchased cable rug on a cable rug list. |
