PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting furnace capable of protecting piping or a wiring attached to a furnace body from damages in accordance with a motion of the furnace body in a melting furnace whose furnace body is moved.SOLUTION: A melting furnace 1 is constituted by comprising: a furnace body 10 for accommodating metal materials, and melting them; a furnace body motion mechanism for movably supporting the furnace body 10 on an installation surface 90; piping or a wiring 40 one end 42 of which is fixed to the furnace body, and at least a part of which has flexibility; and a cradle 30 having a support part 31 for supporting a middle part of the piping or the wiring 40, and a cradle motion part 32 coupled to the support part 31, and moves the support part 31 on the installation surface 90 in synchronization with a motion of the furnace body 10, and provided on the installation surface 90 to be movable in a vertical direction to the furnace body 10. It is preferable that the cradle motion part 32 is made of a wheel which moves on the installation surface 90, and the support part 31 is coupled to the furnace body 10 to be vertically movable by a coupling part 60 for transmitting the motion of the furnace body 10 by the furnace body motion mechanism to the wheel 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
