PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the distribution of image data to a digital signage device and the confirmation of a distribution history of the image data with a simple operation without providing a dedicated management server.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an image reading part, a storage part, a communication part, a reception part, and an operation control part. The storage part has a storage area for signages subjected to one-to-one correspondence to a digital signage device. Image data generated by reading an original placed on an original platen by the image reading part is stored in the storage area for signages. In the case that the reception part receives a distribution instruction, the operation control part makes the communication part transmit the image data stored in the storage area for signages associated with the digital signage device designated by the distribution instruction to the digital signage device designated by the distribution instruction, and makes the storage part store the distribution instruction as history information in the storage area for signages.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
