PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a non-human animal, the method that can simply analyze a stage-specific or tissue-specific gene function and is applicable to an animal without ES cells established, the non-human animal produced by the production method, an expression vector for use in the production method and a vector for producing the expression vector.SOLUTION: A production method of a transgenic non-human animal includes: a step of introducing an expression vector having a first recombinase recognition sequence, a wild type gene of interest, and a second recombinase recognition sequence in this order, in a fertilized egg of a non-human animal having a variation in the gene of interest and showing a phenotype unlike the wild type or of the non-human animal deleting the gene of interest and showing the phenotype unlike the wild type; and a step of culturing the fertilized egg and obtaining a transgenic non-human animal. The phenotype is rescued in the production method of the transgenic non-human animal.
