PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile press-in/pull-out machine having a mechanism for keeping a working posture constant for preventing a change in the working posture of a pile caused by pressure at a time of press fitting, the mechanism being provided on a hydraulic motor that actuates a pile gripping device, thereby enhancing press-fit accuracy for a steel sheet pile and other types of pile.SOLUTION: A pile press-in/pull-out machine 1 includes a pile gripping device 10 that is rotated at a constant diameter around a vertical axis 23 and may be turned at a present position, by a hydraulic motor 17. A brake gear 30 is provided on the hydraulic motor 17, the brake gear 30 controlling a rotation drive shaft 18 of the hydraulic motor 17 when the hydraulic motor 17 is halted, thereby preventing rotation and/or turning of the pile gripping device 10 due to reverse torque from the pile gripping device 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
